The traditional fireworks display that marks the end of the Lord Mayor's Show won't happen tonight, as a mark of respect for the awful events in Paris on Friday night. Instead, Tower Bridge will be lit red, white and blue.
As a mark of respect to the Paris victims we will light @TowerBridge in colours of the Tricolor instead of annual #LMS800 fireworks

It is time for a show of solidarity with the victims of an atrocious terrorist attack and not a time for celebrations. #LMS800

This probably goes without saying, but you're being asked not to travel in if you were planning to come and watch.
There will be two vigils today (Saturday) in Trafalgar Square: one at 2pm, and another at 9pm which is expected to be larger. The vigils have been run past the police, who will be on hand.
