Islington-based artist Dean Waite makes beautifully-detailed ink illustrations with little more than the kind of Biro you might pick up at the local corner shop. He draws inspiration from the capital mixing up modern celebs with famous faces from the past — from Dizzee to Twiggy. He also depicts architecture and other urban symbolism, proving that for distinctive images of London landmarks, the pen is mightier than the selfie stick.
