ARTS EMERGENCY:
An immersive exhibition opens at The Cass Bank Gallery on Whitechapel High Street, curated by Bob and Roberta Smith (who’ll be in residence throughout). Get your Arts Emergency Kit including prescriptions from the likes of Jarvis Cocker, Samantha Morton and Vampire Weekend and get involved with politics and the arts. Free, until 3 May

VANISHED CITY:
The Last Tuesday Society meets at The Viktor Wynd Museum of Curiosities for an evening focusing on Tom Bolton's book, Vanished City. The book looks at 10 London places which for different reasons have disappeared from the A-Z, including the most feared streets in the Western world and London’s first Olympic Park. £10/£5, prebook, 6.30pm

FILM SCREENING:
Head to the Frontline Club for a screening of Drone, a film offering an in-depth look at the USA's use of drones, asking questions about the psychology of war. £10, 7pm

SPARKLING WINE:
The sommelier at Vivat Bacchus in Farringdon has put together a selection of sparkling wines to taste and learn about. Although not produced in the Champagne region, many are made using the same grapes and methods. £15, 7pm

Up-and-coming female filmmakers show their films at Deptford Cinema as part of Shorts On Tap's Women in Revolt season of events. £5, 8pm

The Comedy Store near Piccadilly Circus hosts a line-up including Jarred Christmas, John Moloney, Andrew Bird, Alistair McGowan, Ian Moore and Joe Lycett, all in aid of Save The Children. £13, 8pm
