Stand by your internet, comedy fans: Daniel Kitson is hosting a fundraiser for Shelter at Hackney Empire on 30 October, and tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday 5 September.
And like everything Kitson is involved with, we expect tickets to vanish. Like the tickets for 10 work in progress shows at The Hob in Forest Hill which sold out in five minutes. It might not quite be Benedict-Cumberbatch-in-Hamlet ticket frenzy proportions, but it's still pretty furious.
It's also not often that we relegate Stewart Lee to an 'oh, and here are the other people on the bill', but that's the power of Kitson. Nish Kumar and Sean Hughes are also confirmed, with more acts to come.
The night will raise funds for the Hackney Winter Night Shelter, which houses up to 25 people a night during the colder months, as well as helping them find long-term accommodation. Tickets are £20/£15 plus booking fee, which sounds very reasonable to us.
