Our friends at Museum of London Docklands are treading new waters with their first ever special late night openings, giving the after-work crowd a chance to catch the acclaimed Bridge exhibition.

If you haven’t already been (or if you fancy a repeat viewing in the evening), come on Friday 26 September or Thursday 23 October. London’s riverine crossings are a beautiful (and utterly vital) part of the cityscape, and Bridge pays homage to them with a creative display of historical and contemporary artworks, maps, photography and films.

There’s also a special audio installation from sound artist Scanner, featuring a series of hanging speakers — each broadcasting personal stories and responses to bridges across the globe. Listen to our podcast with Scanner (AKA Robin Rimbaud).

Both evenings are totally free to enjoy, but bring some pocket money for a tasty beverage from one of the late night bars laid on by Rum and Sugar.

Situated in the heart of the London Docklands and overlooking the water's edge, these Museum of London Docklands lates will give Londoners the opportunity to enjoy awesome art free of charge, with a drink in hand and view to die for. Not a bad combination really.

Museum of London Docklands lates are on Friday 26 September and Thursday 23 October, from 6-10pm. Entry is free.
