Best of Britannia is back again — transforming the Farmiloe Building in Clerkenwell into a massive pop-up department store. The festival, taking place in the Victorian warehouse from Thursday 2 until Saturday 4 October, celebrates the quality of British brands, with a three-day showcase of national manufacturing.

Over 200 high-quality and traditional British brands are on display — cars, boats and bikes, menswear and womenswear, jewellery and accessories, and furniture and furnishings. Exhibitors include shoemakers Hetty Rose and Jeffrey West, bicycle makers Moulton and Brooks, helmets by Hedon, and hairdresser to the stars, Johnnie Sapong.

But it's not just about shopping. Best of Britannia invites you to feast on tasty traditional food and enjoy a craft beer while mingling with the designers and producers who created your new purchase. Learn the art of trading from field experts. You can also join one of the festival's seminars and learn the art of trade from field experts.

Next, it's time for some intellectual inspiration. Head to the top floors and enjoy British cinema: screenings include classic 70s gangster movie We Still Kill The Old Way, and the documentary Tony Benn: Will and Testament, plus Dermorphia, which recently opened the East End Film Festival. You can also feast your ears on music talents Megan Henwood and Laura Miranda, and bob your head to tunes spun by Love Vinyl.

Best of Britannia takes place at the Farmiloe Building in Clerkenwell and is open from Thursday 2 until Saturday 4 October. Tickets start from £8. A full programme of live performances and talks will be announced shortly.
