The Canary Wharf Motorexpo returns next week for its 19th annual outing, giving London’s petrolheads a chance to check out some of their favourite motors.
Among this year’s exhibitors, cars from BMW, Lexus, Audi, Jaguar, Tesla and Maserati will be at Canary Wharf, while some manufacturers will be unveiling their latest models, including Bentley’s new supercar, the Continental GTV8 S. Other vehicles on display will be Aston Martin’s Vanquish Volante, the Maserati Ghibli, Rolls Royce’s Wraith and the Infiniti Q50.
The displays aren’t confined to modern motoring though — previous years have seen some gorgeous classic sports cars, and 2014 brings F1 cars from Lotus and Infiniti Red Bull Racing. The B4 Bike, a retro-styled electric cruiser, and Tesla’s Model S zero emissions sports car, and the electric urban sports motorcycle Saietta R from Agility Global will show some of the best of sustainable motoring.
As in previous years, visitors will get the chance to drive some of the cars on display — look out for the Drive Me symbol to book your test drive. If you fancy making a day of it, Canary Wharf has a wide range of shops and restaurants to visit when your appetite for cars has been sated.
The Canary Wharf Motorexpo is free to attend and runs from Monday 9 June to Sunday 15 June between 10am and 6pm then 11am to 5pm on Sunday. For more information visit www.motorexpo.com.
