We first chanced across this band a couple of weeks ago and this track really staye with us. Despite the name, French for Rabbits are a New Zealand band, who will be heading home soon, so don't miss them at the Finsbury. It is a free gig but you need to get tickets in advance from this link. @FrenchforRabbit, @TheFinPub.

Tuesday 20 May

This weeks DOUBLE BILL. Tankus the Henge - purveyors of excellent carnival/gypsy/baltic swing. They are know for their rabble rousing live performances. Gypsy Dynamite - playing a wide repertoire of gypsy jazz, spanish and Italian music all rearranged in and performed with gusto! This track is this week's shameless favourite. Listening to this woman's voice is like being wrapped in a warming inviting quilt, you should definitely see her performance at The Harrison. @MaraDMusic, @theharrisonfolk
