NEW EXHIBITION: A new interactive exhibition opens at Lewisham Shopping Centre today. DIGITAL ZOO: Life From The World Wild Web explores how the internet and social media have changed our lives. Exhibits include animation and a mobile app game. Free, just turn up, until 13 April

LUNCH BREAK: The Royal Albert Hall hosts a free concert featuring guitars, clarinet, violin and double bass. The musicians play in the venue’s restaurant with an eclectic repertoire of jazz. Free, just turn up, 12pm

SUFFRAGETTE WALK: Go To Midtown puts on a free walk taking in sites of importance in the suffragette movement. Starts at Holborn Station. Free, just turn up, 1pm

BARNET TALK: Head to Chipping Barnet Library for a talk about Barnet During The First World War by local historical tour guide Paul Baker. Free, just turn up, 6.30pm

STAGE ARTS: Improve your stage presence at When Performance Goes Right, an event at Rich Mix that brings together the worlds of dance, sport and science for a lecture on why the audience are more drawn to watching some performers than others. NEW COMEDY: A new comedy night, The South London Comedy Club, launches tonight at The Furzedown on Mitcham Lane in Streatham. Headlining tonight is Ellie Taylor. £12, just turn up, 8.30pm

RECORD CLUB: A night of BYO vinyl takes place at The King’s Head pub in Crouch End. Bring along your favourite music and play it in the basement, where the band Native Birds will perform too. Free, just turn up, from 8.30pm


Good Cause of the Day

Book ahead for Friends of The Earth's The Big Laugh. The comedy evening takes place at the Hammersmith Apollo on 8 May, but with comedy names such as Greg Davies and Josh Widdicombe, and live music from Eliza Doolittle, tickets are bound to sell fast. Prices range from £18 to £51.75, with proceeds going to Friends of The Earth's Bee Cause Campaign. The campaign aims to create over 100 wild ‘Bee World’ habitats across the UK to help save the endangered British bee. You can get your ticket for the event here.
