Ticket Alert: A Door In A Wall Presents 'The Diplomatic Corpse'

diplomatic corpseThe ever-punning folks at A Door in a Wall have announced their latest murder mystery event coming up in May and June — The Diplomatic Corpse.

Once again, it's down to us wily lot to bring a murderer to justice using just our knowledge of London and a series of clues:

In the ever-volatile country of Paudaguay, you're never too far from danger. Even the most naïve travellers know to guard themselves against the ferocious wildlife, the free-roaming criminal gangs, and typically biannual coups.

But, in our globalised world, trouble can travel fast. Now the simmering unrest has blown over to British shores and the Paudaguayan ambassador, Emilio Ninkash, has been murdered within his own embassy. Was this a political killing? The work of a petty criminal perhaps? Or was there someone with a more personal motive? National law dictates that in an emergency, all Paudaguayan citizens may be called upon for help.

Admittedly, this happens a lot.

In this time of peril, will you answer your consulate’s call to investigate the crime, restore tranquility to our diplomatic community, and bring the killer to justice?

As ADIAW veterans, we can certainly recommend one of their events to exercise your brain (and your feet — there's a lot of walking involved so wear comfy shoes), so make sure you're ready when tickets go on sale via Billetto at 9am on Thursday 27 February 2014.

The Diplomatic Corpse will run in the evenings every day from the 2 May - 15 June, plus afternoon runs on Saturdays, Sundays, Bank Holiday Mondays and Wednesdays. Teams should be 3-6 people, armed with at least one smartphone and your wits. Tickets are priced at £30, plus booking fees.

Visit A Door in a Wall's website for further information and other events.
