Londoddities
It's Mural Week on Londoddities. Today's entry is the Riders of the Apocalypse mural on Cold Blow Lane, near New Cross. This work by mural specialist Brian Barnes shows (bottom to top) Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, Michael Hesleltine and Yuri Andropov riding cruise missiles around the globe. Our ballistic quartet are met by a dove of piece and the symbol of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.
