Make London From Lego At The Royal Academy

4289782818_a19dd14312_zThis Sunday, little kids and big kids can join model makers and architects in re-imagining the capital and building it from Lego.

The Royal Academy is hosting a free, family-friendly, drop-in workshop as part of the Richard Rogers Inside Out Retrospective.  A large image of the Thames will be installed in Gallery 10 of the exhibition with 70,000 Lego bricks ready to be engineered into a new London skyline.

Will you build a new bridge, aspire higher than the Shard or rearrange the Southbank Centre? Have fun, take photos, please share!

Family Studio: From the Ground up takes place at the Royal Academy of Arts on Sunday 11 August, 11am-2pm. Free, just turn up, but if it's busy you might have to queue.
