Reader Competition
A festival of fun and unusual visual theatre begins at the Dugdale Centre in Enfield this Thursday (read our preview). The opening shows of Mimetic 2013 are The Paper Cinema's Odyssey - an amazing silent film created before your eyes from a suitcase full of paper puppets - followed by a variety show from Finger in the Pie Cabaret. We have a pair of tickets to give away to this opening night double bill. You'll need to be in Enfield Town for 7pm (30 mins on train from Liverpool Street) and there's time to grab some dinner in between shows.

London Connection Puzzle
So, the solution to last week's puzzle. The clue-words were KINGSLAND, CITY ROAD, WENLOCK and BATTLEBRIDGE. They are all, of course, basins on the Regent's Canal. Lots of people emailed in with the correct answer, but first among them was reader 'Bebs' (who gives no full name, but congratulations). Bebs suggested an idea for this week's puzzle, which will start tomorrow. So stay tuned.

Such is the heat today that Londoners could be forgiven for thinking* that they're on the surface of GJ 667Cc, a potentially habitable planet with three suns, recently discovered by scientists in California.
