UPDATE: tickets now available from £29 including 1-month’s membership.
If you’re resolved to get out there and date this year, here’s a unique way to throw yourself into it.
On 28 February, the London Eye will become The Wheel of Date as Doingsomething.co.uk offers adventurous Londoners the opportunity to do something fun, in the intimacy of a London Eye capsule, with a bunch of other likeminded people.
The Wheel of Date will rotate once with a different activity in each of the 32 pods. You won’t know which one you’ll end up in until you get there but top event folk like Future Cinema, Lucky Voice, Guilty Pleasures, Cafe Kick, Pongathon, KaraUke, The Book Club and Musical Bingo are amongst the possible organisations destined to entertain you and your fellow 15 riders as you take your turn around the wheel.
Whether you do origami, play ping-pong, sing karaoke or try life drawing, the after-party in the Old Vic Tunnels will give you a chance to find out what everyone else got up to, and mingle with 499 similarly up-for-it singles.
