Here’s our pick of gigs on sale this week. Tickets to all these should be available from around 9am on Friday.
The reunited Madchester legends The Stone Roses play two huge gigs in Finsbury Park on 7 and 8 June. Support acts are yet to be announced but this is sure to sell out in minutes. Be ready at 9.30am (tickets £55+bf)
Will Alt-J win the Mercury Music Prize tonight? Either way you’re going to need a nifty trigger finger to get tickets for their extra O2 Academy Brixton gig on 17 May (tickets £17.60)
The Stereophonics have been working on a new album, due out in the spring, and play the relatively small Troxy in Limehouse on 20 December. The added attraction is support from solo Supergrasser, Gaz Coombes. Tickets £35+bf.
Guitar hero Joe Satriani plays one night at the Shepherds Bush Empire on 17 June (tickets £46.45)
Janet Devlin’s quirky voice and lack of dance moves definitely did for her on X-Factor last year but find out how far she’s come since then at the Islington Academy on 6 April 2013 (tickets £11.95+bf)
Other gigs on sale tomorrow include Michael Buble’s run at the O2 in June and The Feeling at Shepherds Bush Empire on 26 April. Tickets have also gone on sale for a charity gig by Finley Quaye at Scala, supporting the C4WS Homeless Project, on 28 February 2013.
