Preview: Chaz Royal’s 10-Year Anniversary Celebration

Equipped with glamorous costumes, cheeky humour and glitter galore, Chaz Royal proves why he’s become an international heavyweight in the industry. To celebrate his 10-year reign, Mr Royal presents two weekend performances at Bush Hall that are sure to please the crowds, provided that they’re over 18.

For those suffering from a burlesque hangover, pop the bubbly because this two-part extravaganza is a welcome breath of fresh air. It’s an ambitious show with an impressive list of performers. Boredom is not an option.

Part one: the Crown Jewels is hosted by Benjamin Louche and brings out the best in the business. The Friday 23 November performance features first place World Burlesque winners Lada Redstar, Eliza Delite, British Heart, Anna the Hulagan and BigChief RandomChaos. Special guests for the evening are Banbury Cross and Mr Pustra. Expect hula hooping, titillating teases, “boylesque” and lots of feathers.

Future Primitive is the theme on Saturday 24 November. The audience is taken to 2112, where man-eating showgirls run the world. BigChief RandomChaos hosts the show, which features the Buxotics, Merlene von Steenvag, the Barton, Glitterbanditz, Vivid Angel, Miss Anne Thorpy, Cherry Shakewell and Elise Diamond. War-themed skits, boys in spandex hotpants, avant-garde shenanigans and comedy strip numbers are just a few of the night’s acts.

With a decade of experience, and over 500 productions under his belt, the artist formerly known as Mark Henderson is just getting started. Cheers to 10 more!
