In London, we've all walked past homeless people, both male and female, but how often do we stop to think about how they got to where they are? Gerogina Cranston is a photographer who spent eight months getting to know several homeless London women and set about documenting their lives. This included how they got to where they are and what they're doing to get their lives back on track.
Cranston represents their stories through various media, including photography and interviews. Her work ties in with the charity St Mungo's campaign to help homeless and vulnerable women.
This display will be a window into how the homeless women of London live and the varying ordeals they must go through to survive and improve their living standards.
Where From? Where Now? is on at the gallery@oxo, Oxo Tower Wharf, Se1 9PH from 14-18 November. Admission is free.
