Londoners by Craig Taylor was our favourite London book of 2011. Simply put, 83 Londoners tell Craig about their lives. His interviewees include a dominatrix, and airline pilot, a homeless person, a crematorium technician and an illegal immigrant, among many others.
Now it’s Craig’s turn to be in the interview chair. On Thursday 14 June, he’ll be at Museum of London Docklands in conversation with Londonist editor Matt Brown. The pair will discuss some of the highlights from the book, and talk more generally about what makes this great city tick. The discussion will be followed by a Q&A session and a book signing.
Stories of the City with Craig Taylor and Matt Brown, Museum of London Docklands, 14 June, 7-8.30pm. Tickets are £6. Book here.
