Every January and February, London’s Theatreland runs a sale on its ticket prices, with a campaign called Get Into London Theatre.
With the distraction of the Olympics coming this summer, London’s theatres have once again dropped their prices, eager to draw people into the West End to see their shows. This summer, during the London 2012 Festival (21 June to 9 September), Get Into London Theatre is offering tickets at £10, £20, £30 and £40 for a wide choice of musicals, plays, dance and entertainment.
There are more than 40 shows with reduced tickets available, so whatever your taste, there’s probably something to whet your appetite: there’s The Lion King, Julius Caesar by the RSC, Sweeney Todd or the English National Ballet’s Swan Lake to name but a few.
For a full list of participating shows and to get your booking in, visit www.getintolondontheatre.co.uk before 31 May. Or call the 24hr ticket hotline on 0844 412 2703.
