The shopping and leisure complex will be given an automotive theme for the duration with a range of cars and driving-related activities for visitors — all for free. Attractions will range from the latest in eco-driving through to top-of-the-range supercars. Anyone familiar with the Canary Wharf Motor Expo will recognise the names involved: BMW, MINI, Honda, Hyundai, Nissan, and Tesla will all be at DRIVE, along with high-octane supercars from the world-famous Gumball 3000 rally.
The event will be set out over a number of ‘Pit Shops’ around the centre, and is intended to capture the imagination of every kind of driver, from weekend scenic drivers to petrol heads. Retailers such as Reiss, Tag Heuer and Vans will be partnering with DRIVE to run competitions, incentives and special promotions so if you’re handy with a Scalextrics you could win a prize.
DRIVE runs from Tuesday 17 to Sunday 22 April and is free. See the Westfield Stratford City website for more details and opening hours.
