Rooftop Film Club @ The Yard

We know what you’re thinking. Life in London’s pretty cool right now, with spring around the corner, but where are all the warehouse-cinemas? (No? Just us, then…)

Thankfully, The Yard in Hackney Wick is plugging that gap. For a couple of weeks towards the end of this month, the 110-seater Yard Theatre is being transformed into a cinema.

Hosted by the ever-awesome Rooftop Film Club, Films at the Yard will be showing a host of your favourite classic and cult films. Think Back To The Future, Forrest Gump, Reservoir Dogs and Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Book now if you’re interested, as tickets (costing just £9) are selling fast.

On film nights, The Yard Bar will offer their fantastic food and drinks from 5pm; post-movie, you can drink and dance the night away, as The Yard’s open till 1pm on Fridays and Saturdays (and till midnight the rest of the week).

If you’re more into your stage than your screen, don’t worry; The Yard will reopen for theatrical performances on 6 April.

Films at The Yard runs from 29 February until 25 March at The Yard Theatre, Queen’s Yard, Hackney Wick, London, E9 5EN. Tickets cost £9. Visit the-yard.co.uk to find out more.
