- On one side of ExCel this weekend it's BINTM Live (tickets from £12.50) and round the other it's London Comic Con and Memorabilia London - yes, you get two in one - (general adult tickets £10).
- Drink your way through Wandsworth Common Beer Festival (free entry but please pre-register).
- The Affordable Art Fair hits Hampstead Heath (tickets £12).
- Take a look at the Black History Month exhibition at City Hall (free).
- Handmade in Britain at Old Chelsea Town Hall might be good for early Christmas shopping (tickets £5).
- Visit Two Temple Place for the William Morris exhibition and a good snoop (free entry).
- If you're down on the Southbank find the Bear Pit in Bear Gardens and see Jamie Reid's punk archive as part of Bankside's Merge Festival. Open 12-7pm (free).
- The Kazakhstan Film Festival is at the Apollo, Piccadilly Circus till Sunday.
- And it's your last chance to see Anna Walsh's Dogs of London exhibition at Westbourne Grove church till Saturday.
Friday:
- Watch Dance United - a company working with marginalised young people - perform a new work in the Clore Ballroom at 6pm (free).
- Join the London vigil against hate crime in Trafalgar Square from 7.30pm.
- Feeling stylish and subversive? Head for the V&A Postmodern Look Late (free entry).
Saturday:
- Hoxton Street Market's had a makeover, importing trendy design items and 'specialist fashion'. It reopens with some fanfare today, between 10am-6pm.
- There's family friendly fun at Whitechapel Gallery with the Great 'Artchaeological’ Dig: A Game of Logic and Perception between 12-4pm (free, drop in).
- It's Vintage Kilo Sale time again at the Rag Factory, E1 between 10am-4pm (£1 entry).
- Brent River Nature Park is the location for a CSV Make a Difference Day with a family friendly river clean-up and wild daffodil planting from 10.30am with refreshments at 12.30pm (free).
- Are you going to the Austrian Ball?
- Oxjam takes over Shepherds Bush with 40 acts across six venues (tickets £10).
- A new African music night, Afrodite, launches at Zar Zar's, Stratford (£5).
Sunday:
- Enjoy your extra hour in bed!
- It's Pumpkin Day in Brockwell Park from 12-4pm (free).
- Kids can learn about Diwali and make a shadow puppet at the Museum of London at 12.30 and 2.30pm (free).
- Interested in Anime? Join like-minded, lovely people upstairs at the Green Man, Riding House Street and watch Deathnote. It's an experiment but could turn into Anime Club! From 1pm (free).
