Pop-up Preview: Peyton and Byrne @ Kew Gardens

From this Friday, Kew Gardens will be opening up its renovated plant house The Orangery to Peyton and Byrne’s new pop-up restaurant.

Head chef Nigel Smith, top forager Miles Irving and P&B chief exec Simon Duff will be making use of Kew’s extensive gardens to find herbs, flowers, vegetables and fruit and devise a menu around them. Take note of the greenery around you as you walk to the restaurant − you might be eating it later.

In the temporary nature of pop-ups, the restaurant will only be around every Friday between June and August. It kicks off this week with a supper club attended by Irish restaurateur and P&B chairman Oliver Peyton. Tickets are £55 for which you can expect food, jazz and a drink on your arrival.
