Hundreds turned out for a flashmob style protest on Sunday against Westminster's proposed new byelaw which will outlaw lying down on the pavement and also ban the soup runs which reach out to people sleeping on the streets.
Westminster previously attempted to curb soup runs back in 2007. Is the political desire for "homeless free streets" for London 2012 strong enough to help it succeed this time?
