Preview: Daylight Music @ Union Chapel

How's this for a civilised way to spend Saturday afternoon: bacon roll, homemade cake, mug of tea and a free gig in the gothic beauty of Islington's Union Chapel?

Daylight Music started up again last week bringing exactly this to N1's most glorious godly house which moonlights (daylights?) as gig heaven. The intention is to present music across genres, including contemporary acoustic, electronica, chill out and classical and edging into poetry (e.g. Luke Wright appears on 12 March). If there are acts you've not heard of from the listings below, listen to snippets on Daylight's Soundcloud.

Daylight Music is on Saturdays starting at midday until 2pm and admission is free. Union Chapel is on Upper Street, by Highbury Corner. Listings for the weekly weekend gigs from February to June are below.
