Half Term Dance: U Review @ The Place and Lilian Baylis Studio

Short on ideas to entertain and stimulate the kids this week? Let them turn dance critic! Take your 8-11 year olds to The Place or Sadler's Wells to watch two new dance pieces, specially choreographed with the kids in mind and specifically seeking reviews from them.

The works - Little Creatures, by Zoi Dimitriou and Thinginess, Thingummy, Thingumajig & Thingiwhatsit by Robin Dingemans - are based around the themes of games and technology and performed by students from London Contemporary Dance School.

And the choreographers want raw feedback. This is no sit back and watch/go to sleep. Your family's feedback and responses to the works will be actively encouraged and to help, you'll first be guided through a series of warm-ups to get you thinking about movement.

Introduce your kids to the joys of watching and thinking about dance. All tickets are just £6 and interval refreshments are included.

There are two sessions at The Place, Euston today: 2.30 and 5pm. Then at the Lilian Baylis Studio, Sadler's Wells, near Angel, on Friday at the same times.

The Place is at Dukes Place, off Euston Road, WC1H 9PY.

Lilian Baylis Studio is next door to Sadler's Wells on Rosebery Avenue, EC1R 4TN
