Boris Johnson Launches Recycling Initiative

sofa.jpg After his announcement in January this year to make London greener, Boris Johnson has laid some plans for a recycling scheme which aims to redistribute unwanted household items to willing recipients. Much like the pre-existing Freecycle, in fact, but with the less-than-snappy moniker of the Reuse Network. With a collection service planned too, we might even see a reduction in forlorn-looking sofas abandoned by the wayside. In common with some of the mayor's other schemes, we're speculating on how the media will append his name to the recycling initiative: Boriscycle is just a little too close to the Cycle Hire scheme and FreeBoris sounds like a prison release campaign.
