Want to stand in the very place where Boris Johnson held his Mayoral announcement party? Here's your chance: Altitude 360, the 29th-storey viewing platform on top of Millbank Tower which hosted the event all the way back in 2007, is opening to the public on certain days throughout August.
Touting itself as "London's most inspirational venue", the Altitude 360 Viewing Gallery (to give it the full name) offers, as the name would suggest, panoramic views of the city, stretching on a clear day some 25m out. The platform isn't as high as its most obvious rival, the nearby London Eye, but it is more spacious, and visitors get as much time as they like to amble through the rooms and take in the sights.
It's a little cheaper, too: Tickets start at £10 adult, up to a deluxe package for £27, which includes a glass of champagne and a comedian-led tour. Certainly not the cheapest way to get a view of the city, but tower completists and tourists will enjoy. Full prices on the website.
