Fabric Nightclub Bought, Future Secured

0107_fabric.png After the loss of the Foundry, T Bar, Shunt & Barden's, the temporary closure of Plastic People and threats to Ministry of Sound, London didn't really need another late night venue to close down. Fortunately, Fabric, the Farringdon club which went into administration in May, has been bought by a new consortium which has vowed to keep the place open and, most importantly, continue with the vision of the club's founders. Difficult to know who''ll be more pleased: clubbers themselves, or the early-morning food vendors around Smithfield market, who do a roaring trade on overpriced bacon baps for the saucer-eyed revellers staggering out at 5am.
