T Bar Closes For Good

Little more than a year after switching their Ditch from Shore to Hounds, the T Bar has abruptly closed. A missive on the venue's Facebook page blames the slow economic recovery in London, and a desire to move on in fresh directions, for the decision to shut up shop. Last May's move to a little-known City location, tucked beneath the gleaming spires of the Square Mile, never quite brought the crowds of yore along with it, and perhaps wisely, the owners have decided to end it now instead of have their baby fade out with an endless, unwelcome encore.
