A series celebrating the talent of our friends over in the Londonist Flickr pool. Here, they introduce themselves and share their favourite London shots. Today, meet icemanuk, AKA Neal Eiserman:
I moved to London, from Canada, eight years ago. Since then I have lived all over the city, from Barking to Highbury, but at the moment I call Fitzrovia home. As someone that has moved to London and not been born here, the city has always fascinated me with its history and architecture. I love wandering around London, taking the off the beaten path and finding that tiny pub or cafe to enjoy.
My interest in photography started as I began to travel and the advent of digital cameras. It became easier to take a few pictures rather than to collect souvenirs. I started to become more serious about photography about 5 years ago, with the purchase of my first DLSR. From there the addiction began and I have been fortunate with finding the odd paid job to supplement the inevitable equipment expenditure. With several events, the occasional wedding, and a bit of architecture work under my belt, I feel that my work has really improved over the past couple of years and I look forward to where it will take me in the future.
