Bon Jovi Play O2 Roof Today

Bon Jovi will be rocking the O2 from the roof around 3.30pm today - weather permitting - playing 4 tracks to mark the start of their Greenwich Peninsula summer residency (Sky News will be there, apparently). It's not quite up there with the Beatles on top of Abbey Road but to give you an idea what it'll be like, check out Terry Venables singing aloft the dome the other week. Come on comment pedants - why haven't you pointed out yet that the Beatles played a roof in Savile Row, not Abbey Road? Disappointed.

Savile Row, definitely.

I can almost see the 02 from here in the Wharf. Only three huge skyscrapers stand between it and me.

They ought to play regardless of the weather. A spot of rain would bring a new meaning to the term 'slide guitar'.
