Waltham Website Warns Motorists

Waltham Forest council are keen to demonstrate that they consider mobile traffic enforcement to be a safety measure rather than a revenue-raising exercise by tipping off drivers over camera locations on its website. Some groups, such as www.drivingcasualtiesdown.org, already show these in Essex, but Waltham hope to prevent accidents by making motorists aware of blackspots in advance rather than waiting until after they've happened to enforce the rules of the road.
