See if you can snap up a bargain from the brightest new stars on the contemporary craft scene this lunchtime. Craft Central in Clerkenwell offers support and advice to artists and designers who are building their careers and provides them with opportunities to exhibit and showcase innovative new work. They are hosting another one of their one-day Designer-Maker sales today, with talent from around the capital descending on St John’s Square.
There will be two floors of accessories, fashion and jewellery on offer and entry is free. As well as having the opportunity to meet the designers themselves, all of the vendors are offering discounts on selected items of up to 75%. Artists will include An Alleweireldt, Piyush Suri and Ruth Singer. Much more interesting than mooching round Topshop.
