Tube
Northern Line: No service between Archway and High Barnet/Mill Hill East.
Met Line: Minor delays across the line.
Piccadilly Line: No service between Acton Town and Uxbridge.
There are also delays on the Central Line because of signal problems.
Trains
As mentioned yesterday, Southeastern trains are running on a revised timetable as a precaution. Many other companies have followed suit. Waterloo seems to be the worst affected station, with many services cut or cancelled.
Roads
What, are you mad? What? You have no other option? Well good luck to you. Goes without saying that gritted main roads should be OK, with minor roads potentially problematic. Western London is most treacherous, but isn’t that always the case?
Buses
Likely to be busy and sluggish throughout the capital. TfL highlight the following areas as particularly problematic thanks to snow, with some route changes in effect: Croydon, Purley, Biggin Hill and Alexandra Park.
Planes
Gatwick Airport is completely closed. Other airports are open, but suffering delays and cancellations.
Walking
Chuffing good fun, as long as you’re sound of limb, wearing sensible shoes, and not passing any large groups of snowball-toting school kids.
One-horse open sleigh
Transport of choice for the discerning winter commuter. Multiple horses enable a faster ride but may lead to stabling issues.
