Fake Yellow Pages Fools Schools

While we're talking about scams, thieves have been defrauding schools and colleges by posing as Yellow Pages representatives. The crooked classified consters used an Oxford Street mail box to garner cheques of up to £600 in exchange for adverts in the online directory. Westminster Council have seized around ten grands-worth of cheques, but the thieves remain at large. Perhaps the company might turn to its own resource and employ one of the 1380 detective agencies listed on Yell.com.
