Greenpeace Atop Parliament: Change Politics, Save Climate

Fifty five hale Greenpeace protesters scaled the rooftop of the Palace of Westminster last night ready to greet MPs returning from summer break with an unmissable neon protest for action on climate change. With the Copenhagen summit just weeks away Greenpeace have produced a 12 policy manifesto to "protect the environment while also protecting our economy". Around 20 protesters are still on the roof this morning braving the nip in the air and the remaining stalwarts are grateful for the support of passing cyclists cheering.
