Preview: Thriller Dance Flashmob @ Trafalgar Square

It's been almost three month since the death of Michael Jackson was announced and the fans are still coming to term with the news, it seems. Indeed, some even seem to believe that Bambi, just like Elvis, isn't dead and now lives in a concrete basement somewhere.

Tomorrow (29th August), Jackson's birthday, was going to be the King of Pop's funeral but this has now been postponed until 3rd September. However, if you didn't get enough dancing with the Fame Dance-A-Long, and fancy seeing a sight that'll almost stop your heart, a bunch of die-hard fan will don their zombie outfits and attempt a world record attempt for the largest Thriller dance flashmob. An interesting choice of song, considering. So far almost 800 people have signed up on Facebook, so you won't be alone to walk in your masquerade.

Times are a little confused and confusing but it seems that wannabe zombies are asked to gather when the midday hour is close at hand at the foot of the Nelson Column. A rehearsal with professional dancers is promised for those arriving before 11. Whatever you do, remember that no mere mortal can resist the evil of the thriller!
