September is just around the corner, and as usual we can expect the weather to suddenly become even worse than it's been over 'summer'. It therefore seems like a good time to turn back to the silver screen as a way to fight the oncoming gloom.

And The Prince Charles Cinema has just what we need in that respect. 1 September marks the beginning of a promising fortnight: the I Will Tell International Film Festival, "a showcase of ordinary heroes from around the world telling previously untold stories". It's supposed to be courageous and provocative. We are promised "award-winning films, post-screening discussions, director Q&As, workshops, comedy show, matinee screening, Family Day, short films, Hip Hop Gala and a closing gala party at a secret venue in Leicester Square". Sounds perfect!

I Will Tell Film Festival runs between 1 and 12 September at the Prince Charles Cinema. Tickets: £10 Non Members, £8 Members, £6 Concessions (Students, Unemployed, Children), Festival Pass: £50 to ALL films.
