D'ya know what? We might just be tempted to go along to the Chelsea Flower Show this year. Hay fever and all. It's starting to look like a bit of fun. Seems there is no end to James May's talents: drinker, driver, and now horticulturalist. He has designed a plasticine garden, which sounds splendidly silly. Add to that the promise of a perfume garden and scrap sculptures, and it's more outsider art than insider smart. Apparently the credit crunch is to blame (such an easy option) for the strimmed opulence: we're talking leaner and greener. Tickets are still available for the last three days of the show, which runs from 19th-23rd May. Now, where's our hat.... (Image/Jessicamulley.)
