Feltham Mulls Freddie Tribute

Though a son of Zanzibar, Freddie Mercury lived for most of his life in London, and a fitting tribute to the Queen frontman is well overdue (discounting the statue that stands over the grave of Ben Elton's career on Tottenham Court Road). Now councillors in Feltham are set to memorialise him via a Hollywood-style star on the High Street. The Bulsara family settled in Feltham after fleeing their native land, and years before inviting audiences worldwide to do the Fandango, the young Farrokh studied at Isleworth Poly. The council hope it'll put Feltham on the music tourism map, as well as distract Freddie fans from the abomination that is Queen + Paul Rodgers.
