French animation director Michel Ocelot's trademark style mixes forgotten techniques of the 1920s with artistic inspiration from around the world, as displayed in the eye-opening Kirikou and the Sorceress. His latest feature Azur et Asmar upgrades to computer animation, but don't expect anything you've seen from Pixar. This free screening at the Roxy Bar and Screen comes to us courtesy of Electric Sheep Magazine's Hectic Peelers Film Club at 7:30, with an introduction and Q&A by animator Grant Rodgers.
