We're sure the dear Colonel Sanders (no stranger to these parts) didn't have this in mind when he invented his secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices. Firefighters responding to a blaze at a Peckham chicken shop last night discovered a cannabis factory above the premises. Over 100 illegal cannabis plants were found in the flat above Dixie Chicken on Peckham High Street, where hose-men successfully put out a fire started by faulty ventilation equipment. Police are investigating, but luckily for those south Londoners craving a bargain £1.50 chicken 'n chips combo, the flat is separate from the shop itself, and it should be business as usual.
