Ken Back On Political Map

Well, you didn’t think he’d just sit back and retire, did you? In an attempt to rally all of the many vested interests who oppose Boris Johnson’s conservative mayorship, Ken Livingstone has launched a new coalition to provide an alternative vision for London – called, logically enough, Progressive London. The group of MPs from various parties, trade unionists and other London figures will campaign on London issues, as well as presumably laying the groundwork for a Ken comeback in 2012.
