Unhappy Hammer In Drink-Drive Investigation

Football It's been a difficult first week at the helm for West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola. A tidy win against Newcastle on Saturday was followed on Tuesday by a Carling Cup humbling at the hands of Watford. Now Hammers striker (and Londonist United regular) Carlton Cole has found himself under arrest on suspicion of drink driving in central London. Police apprehended the 24-year old in the wee hours of Tuesday morning as he was driving along the Thames Embankment. Following a routine breathalyser he was taken to a nearby police station before being bailed.
