CARNIVAL REMINDER

Don’t forget… tomorrow sees the annual Latin American Carnival del Pueblo in Burgess Park. A carnival procession kicks off the proceedings at noon and the party goes on ‘til 10pm. It is a huge event – the biggest of its kind outside South America. And it’s pretty much all free. If you want to fill your Sunday with a helping of oomph, a bit of olé and plenty of ‘ayayay’, this is the venue for you. But if you’re working Monday morning, go easy on those caipirinhas.
