As Danny Baker prepares to enjoy a month off from his BBC London afternoon show the station have prepared a whole host of guests to take over the big man's chair. Broadcasting on 94.9FM across London, the station has always had it's fair share of celebs and is now grooming them to co-host the show with London music guru Gary Crowley.

Kicking off on 18 August, Gary will be joined by Apprentice troublemaker Lucinda Ledgerwood for three days, before Katie Melua, Phil Daniels and Toyah Wilcox all take the hot seat. The main appointment to listen surely has to come on 1 September, when everyone's favourite 'dad who really wants to be famous' Mitch Winehouse takes over the mic. Never one to keep his opinions to himself, they better have the bleeper at hand.

Mitch will be followed by the likes of Clare Grogan, Sandie Shaw, Alison Moyet, Sharleen Spitteri and David Grant, before Danny Baker returns on September 15.

We have to admit that we never really listen to BBC London, but we really think we should start. What are you favourite shows and why?
