Warp and Flying Lotus Present Brainfeeder
Brainfeeder Warp Records Party

If you like your beats broken and blunted, Warp Records has your Saturday night sorted. No, we're not suggesting that you stay home and chill out to your old Artificial Intelligence records, quite the contrary in fact. The Sheffield label is hosting a party at the Hearn Street Car Park to celebrate the release of their recent signee Flying Lotus' new album, Los Angeles. Should your brainwaves respond favourably to high levels of sub-bass frequency exposure, you should not hesitate in attending.

Flying Lotus comes complete with vocalists in tow for this rare live set, but singers aren't all he's brought us from the States. An entire posse of Los Angeles-based beatsmiths will be on hand to rock the party, including Gas Lamp Killer, Hyperdub stepper Samiyam, Ras G, Take and, on loan from New York City, José James. The wonky Glaswegians Rustie and Hudson Mohawke provide the UK connection along with Digital Mystikz, Kode9 and Danny Breaks.

Following on the success of their March party with Autechre at the same location, Warp have organised an unmissable night of wicked downtempo American hip hop alongside what are easily the most exciting dance music sounds currently coming out of the UK. Come early and don't leave until the last snare drops: it's time for a warehouse party, Warp style!

Warp and Flying Lotus present Brainfeeder, Saturday 14 June 2008, 8 p.m.–4 a.m. at the Hearn Street Car Park, 7-11 Hearn St, Shoreditch, London, EC2 3LS (map). Cost: £15 advance from Warpmart and See Tickets.
