Supergrass play Barfly

diamond080108.jpg

You might not have noticed but Supergrass are playing at Barfly tomorrow night. Yes, a (once) gigantic band in a small venue and somehow tickets are still on sale. The reason is because they are performing under a 'secret' name - Diamond Hoo Ha Men - and playing songs from their new album. They're also a 2 piece temporarily since bassist Micky recently broke his back.

Doors are at 7pm, and the boys will be supported by Wolverhampton's The Lines and Frank Turner. Tickets are £12, but nasty booking fees somehow bring it up to £14. They're on sale here

I believe it was the bassist, Mick Quinn, who broke his back, not the drummer.

Get well soon Supergrass!!! Can't wait for the new tunes!

Whoops! Yes thank you, corrected!

God how I wish I could see this. Someone please go and give us, over here across the pond, a full review.

Check out my Supergrass in Austin (02/2006) photos!

I bought tickets for this on Sunday.....I'm (pleasantly) amazed that there are still some left, just really hoping there hasn't been some IT error at Gigantic.com whereby they made the wrong number of tickets available.

See you on Wednesday!
