Santa's Lap: Battersea on your wall

battersea print

Dusting off the snow from last year, every day this month the Londonist team will be pointing you in the direction of a Christmas present that (with a bit of luck) you won't already have on your list. Climb up onto our collective lap and we'll see what we can move from our sack to your stockings..

While Battersea Power Station might well be a hulk of concrete doing no one any good at the moment in it's wait to be redevloped, it's still an iconic London image that we hope doesn't get changed to much by someone probably evil.

So for any massive fans of the Battersea Power Site, a new print by Nick Hammam might leave your pockets feeling very empty, but your walls looking very pretty. Priced at a whopping £890, the 88x119cm print is framed and limited to 33 editions.

You can purchase it online at the Places and Spaces website but you'll have to take a trip down to their shop on Old Town in Clapham for collection; it's famous for finding interesting and retro furniture so watch your wallet as you may end up spending even more than you intended!
